Approximately. 27 kilometers from Jy Square Lahug. 4 kilometers past Gov. Joe Leyson’s Peak.
The Farm is nestled at 960meters above sea level, in the Highlands of Cebu . Temperature is 5-10 degrees cooler than the city. We are near a river that runs through the area and a water falls and pond suitable for swimming.
Established in 2002, Big Q farm is owned and operated by Anton Quisumbing, founder of CEOBSA Cebu Equine Owner’s, Breeder’s and Sportsmen’s Association and The Philippine Horsemen’s Federation.
Big Q specialize in mountain horse trail riding for beginners and advance skilled riders.
Our Horses and Ponies
We have 8 well trained mountain bred riding horses/ ponies for beginners and advanced skill riders.
The type of horses/ ponies that we have are Quarter horse / thoroughbred x native stock and Arabian x native stock.

This area is known fo a wide variety of birds only found in the island and other wild life. There may be a surprise or two along the way. Not only will you enjoy the trees and the scenic landscape, explore the terrain and cross a river; you will experience the peacefulness of the land on this unforgettable wilderness trail ride on quiet mountain ponies!
Be led by experienced mountain guides.
Our guides are local residents and know the mountains and trail very well. They have years of experience with horses. You will enjoy hearing about the mountains, people, and history, and just have an all around great time!
Learn proper trail riding.
Each ride starts with a short hands-on-lesson: the proper techniques for checking your horse and tack, getting on and off safely and handling the horse to make your ride safe and enjoyable.
Your safety is our utmost concern.
Our guides will show you how to ride in the mountains while making sure that you are supervised and safe.
Non-riders and visitors are welcome.
